Position: Spanish Teacher
Hours: 8:30 to 11:30am Wed. & Thur.
Part-time
Qualifications: Must be fluent in Spanish and English. At least 1 year of experience working with children. Must have CPR/First Aid certification, pre-service training certificate and fingerprint verification.
Position Overview: Teaching children from 16 months to 3rd grade to speak, sing and write in Spanish. HMA of Allen uses the Montessori Spanish curriculum created by a Montessori Teacher Gabriella Wilcox.

Position: Music Teacher
Hours: 8:00 to 11:30am Mon. & Tues.
Part-time
Qualifications: Must have extensive knowledge of music and music history. At least 1 year of experience working with children. Must have CPR/First Aid certification, pre-service training certificate and fingerprint verification.
Position Overview: Teaching children from 16 months to 3rd grade how to read music, play instruments, music history and rhythm/dramatization based on the age groups. HMA of Allen has a Winter Music Program and a Spring Musical that the music teacher will be responsible for coordinating along with the teachers.

Position: Substitute Teachers
Hours: Varies
Part-time
Qualifications: Must be familiar with the Montessori Philosophy and have the ability to sit comfortably on the floor with children and be active during outdoor time. At least 1 year of experience working with children. Must have CPR/First Aid certification, pre-service training certificate and fingerprint verification. Substitutes must be available to work the teacher’s scheduled hours.
Position Overview: Managing children from 3 months to 3rd grade. Working with children during Montessori lessons, assisting with young children in potty training, engaging in outdoor activities and at times food distribution.
